Gig Stuff
In order to make the night work, Lonny Stevens the director called on some additional talent that was in the house. Turns out there was a comic in the audience named Lou who told some very funny jokes that we all enjoyed. Another rapper named Marvelous was working the spot light for the show, so he came up next and performed.
After that Biff Scarborough sang some blues and then we played our set. Lou remembered some other jokes he had, so he came up again after we played. Then Bill McRae, my keyboard player, sang a few of his songs. Voyce McGinley, III then did a killer drum stick solo playing the floor, and then we all sang “Crossroads”. It was good.
Blessings!
Laura
