Honoring The Heart

It isn’t always easy for me to know or understand what I do or how that impacts someone else’s life. I do know that when I show up with kindness and compassion, (intent on being helpful), honest and loving some amazing things happen. It sometimes takes awhile to see, but when I see it I’m usually in awe of how little I do has to do with me.

I just got off the phone with a friend who I hadn’t spoken to in almost a year. When we were in touch, she was going through some rough stuff. I don’t think that anyone who lives a life here gets off without dealing with hard lessons and challenges. I know I’ve had plenty. Quite a bit of what I see today is the result of what I learned having difficulty. I’m interested in learning through bliss.

The good news is my friend’s life is really much better for her now in so many ways than how things were last year at this time. What was nice was that she wanted me to know that a lot of our conversations helped her make important changes and she was very grateful for the time that we had spoken about things. I’ve noticed that when I deal with someone in a way that honors their heart good things always come out of it.
