Sis' Meliss Family Salad Dressing

Usually salad dressing isn’t something I would write about, but I was in Whole Foods and there was a girl named Melissa giving out salad samples with the dressing she makes and it’s one of the best vinaigrette dressings I’ve ever had. It’s made with 3 kinds of vinegar. It’s called Sis’ Meliss Family Salad Dressing and you should try it.

Melissa grew up eating this salad dressing. It’s a family recipe. She has a few varieties that she is getting ready to start manufacturing. The one she was sampling (you can buy it at Whole Foods, hint.) is good for garlic lovers. I like that it doesn’t need to be refrigerated because vinegar is a natural preservative and no artificial ones are added.

I like being able to identify ingredients on a product label without having to have a science degree. It just seems right. If you’d like to get Melissa’s really good salad dressing, or just feel like sending an email to congratulate her on her quality business venture into food manufacturing, sismeliss@hotmail.com is where you can write her.

Blessings!
