LA Rainbow

Today I saw an LA rainbow and it was spectacular. In Telluride, rainbows are fairly common. I even saw a lot of double rainbows when I lived there. LA doesn’t get a lot of them, or at least I haven’t seen many if they do. This one swept across the whole sky and it was vivid. I love seeing the colors in a rainbow. They always make me smile.

My favorite song about rainbows is from a musical called, “Finnian’s Rainbow. It’s called “Look to the Rainbow” and the chorus says, ‘Look, look, look to the rainbow. Follow it over the hill and the stream. Look, look, look to the rainbow. Follow the fellow who follows a dream’. I like the imagery of that.

I was with my hairdresser when the rainbow came out. It was after he had cut my hair and we had walked over to another store. It seemed like a good omen to me. I have a gig tonight at Universal Bar & Grill in North Hollywood. Seeing the rainbow today made everything I was happy about seem even better. I love nature and all her beauty.

Blessings!
Laura
