Comfort
Most of my discomfort in my life was caused by thinking something was wrong. I’ve realized that my thinking something was wrong just made me uncomfortable and didn’t mean that anything was wrong at all. I just wanted things to be different than they were. Just because things aren’t the way I want them to be doesn’t mean they’re wrong.
So now if I ever find myself in a place where I’m uncomfortable my first question to myself is, “What am I thinking?” which is quickly followed by, “What can I think now that will make me feel comfortable?” Sometimes it’s better if I just stop thinking if I’m not thinking about what makes me comfortable. Then I can relax.
Blessings!
