Getting Advice
What I’ve found in that process is that I tend to be taken seriously, even if it does take me some time to learn what is going on. I also wind up with better deals than I would have gotten myself into if I hadn’t taken the time to get the right advice. And sometimes that means a deal takes longer to put together. I’ve found it’s worth it to put in the extra time.
Having a great lawyer is very important for me because I’m usually kind of a push over and my lawyer doesn’t let me be one in a contract. He knows when to tell me to say “no”. And I have to be willing to walk away on a deal if it isn’t set up right. My lawyer said, “You’re going to live with what you sign your name to, not what someone told you”.
Blessings!
