Art

The thing about art that I find interesting is that art speaks for itself no matter what anyone has to say about it. And it will make its own statement whether the artist who creates it is there or not. It also will make an impression on those who encounter it whether they’re interested in getting an impression or not. Art has a life of its own.

True art is timeless. In any time, a piece of art will have meaning. It will convey something to any generation who interacts with it, whether it’s music, a painting, a story or poem. Art is brought forth in a linear fashion and then resides in suspended space. It seems to take on a personality and mystifies its surroundings. It’s magical in nature.

As an artist, connecting to that mystical aspect is vital to my soul. It makes me complete in a way that nothing else does. When I’m tapped into the Source of my creativity I am whole and fulfilled. It captivates me and inspires me to do things I would never have the courage to do on my own. With my art, I stand in the world with something to say.
