My car is a 1989 Honda Civic. I’m the original owner. I got really lucky with this car. It’s been with me in 4 states. It has this unique ability to let me know exactly when it needs to be brought in to the shop. And when the mechanics look at the parts that need to be replaced they always tell me they don’t know how I’ve been driving with the part like that.

Today was no exception. My car started having trouble getting power going up hills. I was hoping it was just a spark plug issue. It turned out that the clutch needed to be replaced. Apparently, when they removed the clutch it was in about the worst condition they had ever seen. I’m lucky that my car gets every mile it can out of the parts it has.

Fortunately, I was able to get rides to where I needed to be today and when I get the car tomorrow it will be all happy again. It will be like driving a new car. I was also told that with the new spark plugs my car is idling beautifully. It’s great to have a car that is so careful to take care of me that also makes it easy for me to take care of it.
