Greater Than Myself
As an artist, I tend to live from a place in my heart that I see others don’t always get to. It’s a place where I find my center, my motivation, the energy that drives me and the love that’s all around me. When I play my guitar and sing my songs, I’m in an altered state. People have commented how different I am when I’m doing that. It just feels good to me.
I’ve been told that I light up when I play or even when I talk about playing. That’s one indicator to me that I’m doing the right thing. I don’t know what impact my work as an artist has or what, in the big picture, I’m doing this for. I just know I need to do it and that seems to be why I’m here. Do you think bees know they’re pollinating flowers?
Blessings!
