A Mouse In The House, Part 2
I’m glad she was some place safe and was chewing on paper. That won’t hurt her. She’s been kind of bummed out being in her cage today. She was very happy she got to roam around free. I put an extra fastener on the door of her cage so she won’t get out again. I really can’t have her out chewing things up in my apartment. That doesn’t work.
I’m going to talk with my friend who volunteers at the Wild Life Way Station and see what she suggests. When I looked up White-Footed Deer Mice on the internet, they said the mice did fine in captivity and liked to be pet. Maybe Sasha is bored and would do better with another mouse in her life. I don’t really want another mouse in mine.
Blessings!
