Mundane Tasks

I wrote a song when I lived in Telluride called “On the Edge”. Part of the lyric is…”Take the mundane to the sacred one step at a time. Every step is cutting nearer.” The song talks about how we’re on the edge of becoming a Divine race. According to astrology, we’re entering a new age. We’re at a crossing over point where things will improve.

It’s all about what our decisions are, what we buy into and continue to create in our hearts, minds and souls, what we talk about and agree with. If I take what I’m doing in my ordinary day and decide to bring something sacred to it, then something sacred will come into it. I have that choice to interact with my life in that way. So I make that choice.

You can do whatever you want. I like doing what brings me peace, comfort and joy inside about where I am, what I do and the experiences I have with people. I like caring about others whether others care or not. I like being kind whether others are kind or not. I like seeing beauty and magic in the world. It’s up to you what you find in what you see.
