Actions

I’ve come to a point where I really have to accept that actions speak louder than words and know that what I say doesn’t mean much if it doesn’t match what I do. In cases where there is a big discrepancy between my talk and my walk, I just have to chalk it up to how much more there is for me to learn about my behavior.

I think when I learned to be “polite” I learned to be dishonest and then I didn’t recognize the truth after awhile. I have so wanted to “fit in” that I think I sacrificed what deep down inside I’ve always known. I have to live in a state of love and forgiveness or I’m just a mess. Whether or not it’s popular or promoted in the media, it’s what I have to do.

I’m choosing to be conscious and respectful to myself and others and I’m not buying into the publicity that is being fed to the American public via the media. It doesn’t seem like the current “corporate and political influencers” are looking for scenarios to create the highest good for all. I wonder what would change that.
