Magic at CAP

Every so often magic comes together and it seems to happen by Divine assignment. This time it’s happened with my band; Bill McRae on keyboards and Voyce McGinley, III on percussion. We played our second show together at CAP and it was amazing. The audience totally loved it and that made it even more fun.

For whatever the reason is that we just click as a band, I’m grateful for it. There isn’t anything else like the chemistry and the energy that is generated when musicians just have that magic when they play together. I’ve never had it before, so I can appreciate how special it is. I’ve always wanted to find this magic for my music.

Now that the magic is here I’m curious where this will magic will take us. Magic shows up for a reason. Any time something clicks with people it’s because it is meant to be there and it’s doing something that needs to be done. I don’t know if you’ve ever noticed that, but it seems to be the case any time magic shows up in a room.
