Prayer

Marianne Williamson, http://www.mariannewilliamson.com/, once said that when she reads the news she knows who to pray for and what prayers need to be sent. She was speaking at Agape Int’l in Culver City. I thought that was a nice way of responding to her concerns about the world. Prayers are a wonderful thing to send.

I was listening to a woman talk about how worried she was about her son and what was happening in his life. She asked what she should do. I told her that praying for him and holding the best vision she could for him doing well would be one of the most loving things she could do. Prayers sent with a strong vision of success are powerful.

I’m always grateful when people pray for me in a loving way. It has gotten me through some really tough spots in my life. Prayers have given me new understanding and new choices that I didn’t have before. The spoken word is magical and when it is filled with passion and deep caring, it can bring miracles to many in need of love.
