When I Just Show Up, Luck Happens

I've heard it said that luck happens when preparation meets opportunity. There seems to be truth in that. I think when I show up for things without an agenda I'm luckier than when I'm looking for something to happen for me.

When I'm kind to strangers and see the beauty in who they are that seems to be more attractive to luck than when I'm out to get something. Usually when I'm not expecting anything or needing something in particular from someone more opportunities are given to me.

There's a peacefulness that is easier for someone to connect with when I just show up for the sheer joy of being there. I'm also able to see what is going on with people because I'm focused on what is happening rather than trying to manuever what is happening.
