Choices

I’ve learned that I have a lot more choices than I thought I did when I was younger. I’ve also found that the choices I make have a decidedly profound impact on the quality of my life. I used to be more of a black and white, cut and dry person. I was known to “throw the baby out with the bath water” and then blow up the room.

Most people who know me now don’t know I had a pretty intense temper before I learned to chill out. Rage was something I was familiar with. I’m lucky I found new ways to vent. If anyone reading this was ever in the line of fire of my rage, please accept my unconditional apology and prayer for you to receive great gifts for putting up with me.

I am a fire sign, but that’s no excuse. It was ignorance more than anything else. I didn’t realize that I had much of an impact on the people around me. I wasn’t feeling all that significant. When I “woke up” and realized that how I treated people made an impact and that my energy was strong on top of it, I decided to change how I’d show up in a room.
