New Song

I wrote a new song last night. It’s called “Trouble”. It’s about having a strong physical chemistry with someone who isn’t the right person to be with. It’s odd to have the combination because the energy gets sticky and creates a paradox. The reality of seeing the truth and being able to work with it effectively requires mastery.

On the side of being an idealist, look at the benefits, cut your losses and get out while you can. On the side of the heart, there’s no point in trying to avoid a lesson because it will just keep showing up until it’s dealt with and healed. So what is the lesson of being in what shows up and working with the dynamics?

In this particular story, the push and pull of wanting to be with a person in an opposing goal seems ridiculous and yet the benefit of what is being achieved is important. There is a mirror in every situation that I have been in so there are a lot of angles that can reveal deep understanding about where a person has walked before.
