Road Trip

Today I’m driving to San Diego to visit my friend, Sharon, www.karisebodytherapy.com, for the weekend. I love being able to get in my car, drive for awhile and be in a totally different vibe. San Diego is fun. The mountains around there have great energy. It’s good to get away from LA just to have a change of pace.

Then when I drive home it’s wonderful to be back. This is the first time I’m leaving my rats, Carole and Nicole, for a night since I rescued them both 9 months ago. I’m a very devoted mommy to them and it’s giving me a strange feeling to be leaving them alone. The little mouse, Sasha, has been with me 2 months now.

My friend is babysitting all the girls for me. He’ll be feeding them breakfast tomorrow and spending some time with them. My little animals eat a better diet than most people. I realized that as I was preparing a bowl of organic fresh cut fruit and vegetables for them. They’re very happy little rodents. My friend said that they’re very calm and sweet.
