Health

There are many gifts in life that are easily overlooked until one day they are gone. Health is one. I have a friend who is in the hospital right now. He just had major surgery and is recovering. It’s more complicated than he thought it was going to be and he’s not sure when he’s getting out.

I don’t take care of my health because I’m afraid of dying. Dying seems like it’s pretty easy for the person who dies. Living is what I have to deal with. As long as I get woken up in the morning and have another day to live in this body, I’m going to take care of it. I don’t know how long I’m going to be alive and I want to feel good while I’m here.

I have a friend who is 82 yrs. old and he told me that if he had known he was going to live so long, he would have taken better care of himself. That hit home for me. If I might have another 40 years to live on this planet, I’m going to workout, eat right, stretch and stay limber so when I wake up in the morning it feels good to get out of bed.

Blessings!
