Sasha The Mouse

My friend rescued a baby mouse that one of her cats had brought to her as a present and put it back outside. The cat went out and brought the mouse back again. Obviously it was this mouse’s destiny to be a house mouse so my friend kept it in a box and was deciding what to do. She broke down and got the mouse a cage.

I was told about the mouse a couple of weeks ago. I rescued my two rats, Carole and Nicole, back in March and they are wonderful, loving little creatures. Since my friend knew I had my rats she called me today looking for a home for the baby mouse. Having the mouse with the cats wasn’t working out. So now I have 2 rats and a baby mouse.

When the mouse arrived at my apartment she needed a name. Sasha was the name that came to me so her name is Sasha now. She’s grey with a white belly, big black eyes and a black tail. She is a tiny thing and now my rats look kind of big to me. Carole and Nicole are full grown now. Maybe when Sasha gets bigger she’ll be able to play with them.
