Happy Easter

I remember when I was little and coloring hard-boiled eggs for Easter. Our family was Jewish, but anything arts and crafts was cool with my parents. I wasn’t particularly great at painting eggs until I got older. Then I hallowed out the eggs and just used the shell. There were a few Easters that my parents hid eggs for us to find. It kept us busy for a bit.

Holidays seem to have more importance when children are around. For kids, it’s more exciting to celebrate holidays. Activities are critical during the life of a child and for parents. Kids need to be entertained and given direction for their energy. They have so much of it that they need a healthy outlet to use it for.

I did eat a hard-boiled egg this morning, but not for Easter. I haven’t even gone out for extra chocolate. Maybe it’s because I haven’t seen anyone dressed up as the Easter Bunny this year. Usually somebody puts on a rabbit costume for some reason or another, but not where I’ve been. I guess Harvey will be the Easter Bunny for me.

Blessings!
Laura
