Cake & Ice Cream

Voyce McGinley, III and I celebrated a year of playing at CAP Theater tonight and we had a great time. At the end of the night we had cake and ice cream. Lonny, the director, made a fabulous chocolate cake and I brought chocolate chip ice cream. It was a great way to cap off the evening.

I eat cake and ice cream once a month, unless there's a holiday reason for me to have it twice. I do that mainly because I need to keep my weight down for performing. My body does better when I'm on the lean side. Plus, when I do have cake and ice cream for a special reason it's more special to me.

It was wonderful to be with so many friends at the show. I got to wear a new dress that I picked up at my favorite thrift store. It cost $3. That's a lucky number. It's a number for creativity. Voyce was certainly creative and did a wonderful percussion solo ala cirque de solei. I love my life!

Blessings!
Laura
