Honesty

I know for me when I’m being honest with myself and others I tend to feel more comfortable in my own skin. It’s not really about what anyone thinks of me that gives me peace of mind. It’s about what I do that matters. I have to live with myself whether people like me or not. And I find I like myself more when I’m being honest.

Usually when I’m being honest I’m coming from a place of self-respect which in turns puts me in a position where I’m respecting others. I do my best to also be in a place of kindness as well. I’m not here to approve of people or judge people for what they’re doing or not doing. I’ve noticed people don’t always know why they do something.

A lot of things were already in place when I showed up on this planet so I don’t have first hand experience from where things started in how people operate in life. I do know there are things I’m not comfortable with that other people seem fine doing. But usually when I question them about those things I find that they aren’t comfortable with them either.
