Shopping
I was at my favorite second-hand store today and ran into a friend of mine I hadn’t seen in awhile. I heard her voice across the room and just smiled. She was laughing because she had given away a bunch of stuff when she was moving a couple of months ago and some of the items wound up in the store.
It’s always a good shopping omen for me when I see her. The last time I ran into her at thrift store I found a fabulous pair of shoes for $10. She brought me great luck again today. I scored a really cool piece of framed art, two long dresses, a skirt, a top, and a purse, all for $21.50. I put the picture up when I got home and it makes me smile.
I was in such a good mood after that I went to another store and picked up some shoes. I don’t normally indulge in a lot of shopping. My schedule gets booked up with other things that take up my time. I’m excited about the new dress and shoes I got for gigs. It makes performing so much fun when I’m wrapped in glamour.
