There’s a picture of me playing in the Key Club’s Plush Lounge VIP Room in this week’s “Mixed Notes” column in Music Connection Magazine. And I want to thank Michael Mollura of Music Connection Magazine for putting my picture in his column. It really helps keep me motivated when other people support what I’m doing.

In March, they gave me a really nice demo critique. It helps confirm to me that I’m a real artist. Not that I don’t already know that about myself. It helps when other people know.

I don’t know what it is about being understood that makes a difference. Art isn’t something that I try to explain. It is what it is. Everyone gets what they’re supposed to when they encounter art. I know that how other people relate to my work has more to do with them than with me. My journey is about being the artist not how I am interpreted.
