In One Year
It was last December, 2004, that I started playing out as a solo artist in LA. I was booked to play at Room 5 in November, but lost my voice with whatever version of the flu was going around at the time. Wood Fowler, the promoter, did book me again and I’m playing Room 5, Dec. 28th, tomorrow night @ 8p. I’m looking forward to catching that vibe there.
When I think back to what has gone on and what has happened this year, it seems more amazing to me than how it felt as I was going through it. I need to remember that when I’m feeling mundane in my existence. This year brought my website, a new band, 2 infomercials, a Blind Date appearance, acting classes, and inspired songwriting.
I experienced new things, like doing real Indian sweat lodges, myspace.com, writing daily blogs and press releases, and working out with personal trainers. I discovered that Kosher Chinese food is not bad. I went to my first Clippers’ game, ice skated twice and laughed more than usual. 2005 rocked! 2006 should be even better!

Where Music Meets Artistry
