New Sites

I got an email about www.bandspace.com because they contacted me through www.sonicbids.com. In this time of online networking, there are tons of free sites that artists can post their stuff on. What I like about bandspace.com is I can have my songs on there that people can download and I get paid for each one.

That’s a good thing. Sometimes people are more comfortable with a third party site for downloads rather than an individual’s website. I also like that there is a spot for me to talk about each song and post lyrics with it. The photo section is cool and I like that it's got some of the features of an EPK.

Upgrades are available for a price to utilize more marketing stuff, but I’ll have to see how much traffic comes through being on there. There is also another site I heard about today that’s getting ready to launch in May, 2006. It’s www.music.us. The site will be for industry people, artists and fans to come together. I’m looking forward to getting on that.
