Memorial Day
I remember when I was younger my father made it a point to let me know that it was important to make a contribution to society during my life. A life worth living is a life with meaning. Honesty and integrity were also strong values that he taught me. Not that it’s easy to learn how to live that, but it’s been worth pursuing.
Memorial Day to me also signifies a responsibility for my actions. When what I’m doing has an impact on others, I need to be clear with my intentions and, in my case, be very connected to my heart with God. It’s not that I feel my decisions are going to send people off to war. I just feel strongly that I’d like to be someone that heals and brings in peace.
Blessings!
