My photographer, Gil Benzeevi, was over this morning going thru the pictures he took at our CAP show Friday night. This is the 3rd time Gil and I have worked together and it shows. He had already edited out shots he knew I wouldn’t like and I could tell by the shots he got, that he knew what I would be happy with.

He also got some really great shots of Jen Kober, the comedian who opened the show for us. She is really funny and you can check her out on myspace.com. It’s great to work with extremely talented people. It brings out the best in me. It’s an energy thing. People who are vibrating at a certain level raise the bar for everyone around them.

I’m really happy that I have a photographer who can get great shots under guerilla type conditions. It takes finesse and real technical ability to create and capture moments in a camera with minimal lighting, fast action, and no real set up time to speak of. It’s really fortunate for me, as an artist, to have Gil documenting these stages in my career.
