Driving The 5 Freeway

I went to San Diego for the day and drove on the 5 freeway south from LA. I’m always impressed with how many cars there are driving on the freeways in LA and amazed at how well people drive together on the roads at fast speeds, for the most part. To me that’s a sign of a higher intelligence at work. How else would we be able to drive together?

It seems that people are all on their own path in their life and watching people drive is a great example of that. For some reason I’ve noticed that a person’s true personality shows up when they’re driving. Maybe it’s because they think they’re invisible driving or don’t care much about what people think about them when they’re behind the wheel of a car.

They have somewhere to go. After all, not many people think about where another driver on the road might show up in their life. I find that most people are very considerate and patient on a good day. Every so often there seems to be a funk in the air and people are just having a bad day. Even I can be one of those idiots on the road to someone else.
