An Inconvenient Truth

Yesterday, I saw the Al Gore film on Global Warming and it was impressive, informative and best of all based on scientific facts. Even if Al Gore doesn’t run for President again, I’m still going to vote for him in the upcoming Presidential election. I appreciate the amount of time and thoughtfulness that he’s put into educating people on this issue.

If you haven’t seen “An Inconvenient Truth” for whatever reason, then I would like to encourage you now to do so. Not for political reasons, but for moral reasons, for the sake of future generations and even our own ability to live on this planet. If you have children then see it for them and make changes in how you live for them.

The mindset that has been promoted to the American people through massive PR efforts, entertainment and advertising has been very effective in misinforming us about what we need, how things are, and what can or cannot be done in our lives here. It’s time for us to wake up and deal with the truth. We can do things differently and be better off for it.
