Dreams

I don’t usually remember the dreams I have when I sleep. Every so often a dream will be what wakes me up. In Judaism there is a prayer that people say with others when someone has a dream that disturbs them or they don’t understand. I thought that was cool when I saw that in a prayer book.

I’m not convinced that when I’m awake I’m not dreaming. My perceptions of things seem to be dream like and my memories are like dreams. It may be that when I think I’m awake I’m dreaming and when I’m asleep I’m awake. I think it’s the Hindus who believe that when God is dreaming we are His dream.

There are a lot of books written about interpreting dreams. There’s probably something to that if people write books about it. I’ve heard that a lot of people have falling dreams but I don’t remember what they mean. If a lot of people are dreaming the same things and feeling the same things, we must all be made of the same things.
