Reasons

I find there are reasons for everything. I usually don’t know what the reasons are, but I do know they’re there. When I look at what’s going on in my life, the world, and listen to people talk about their day I can tell that there are underlying forces at work that we have no control over. I can’t tell you why I do most of what I do other than it seems right.

My perception of right changes fairly often. It’s an indication that I’m growing in my life. It also has taught me that I’m not really able to judge things very accurately at times. I’m pretty good at following my instincts, even if they don’t make any sense to my logical mind. When I listen to that, things eventually come around and turn out for the best.

I do find that when I trust the intelligence that creates everything to take care of what is needed in my life and in the world I am at peace and feel a sense of calm that I don’t get when I listen to the news and people ranting and raving. Emotional passion doesn’t always breed sanity in action. It can be very intense and very rough to get through.
