ABCDEFG

Maybe I have too much time on my hands today, but the alphabet song just came into my head and I realized that I don’t know who put the letters of the alphabet in order. There have been times when I thought that my ABCD was somebody else’s JRQW because we just weren’t on the same page at all.

What makes sense to me sometimes seems to be the last thing that anyone else would consider. I’m getting used to it, but it is pretty remarkable how many stories people are living here that have nothing to do with reality. When I look at anti-Semitism for example, it is amazing to think that someone would hate me who has never even met me.

Why put a label with a definition together and make decisions based on an idea that may not have any bearing on actual experience? How can I see when I’m doing that? If I keep an open mind without any preconceived notions about what I’m going into then it may be that what I experience is different than what I thought it would be. Hmmm.
