Fashion Statements

I was told today that women are wearing their jeans tucked into their boots this season. I hadn’t noticed. That style was big awhile back in another decade at some point in my life that I remember, although I don’t recall what year that was. It will most likely be a great year for awesome boots if women will be wearing jeans on the inside of them.

It seems that good fashion is always in style. Solid colors, clean lines and basic pieces work year after year. I don’t buy many prints, stripes, or funky shapes when it comes to my wardrobe. I like the classic stuff that works most everywhere no matter what year it is. Dressing is easier for me that way.

Some things in fashion are worth spending time on to me, like taking 15 minutes to put on make-up to get that “natural” look. Finding the right colors to wear, the right cut in clothes that look best for my body shape and getting the right pieces is way important for my wardrobe closet. It makes shopping more interesting.
