My Prayer Today

There’s a prayer I started saying today and it’s giving me a good feeling inside so I thought I would share it. I’m a God girl, not religious, just a God girl in practical terms. I mean it makes sense to me to turn to whatever is creating me and everything else and get my direction from that. Something makes me what I am here.

Some people don’t like the God word or religion, so please forgive me if what I’m saying triggers stuff that isn’t bringing up good memories. In some ways, being an artist gives me a natural inclination to connect on a deep level to what is creating the overall scheme of things here. Writing a song is done when I’m connected to something inside of myself.

So my prayer today is simple. It helps me go beyond myself into another realm of existence here to be productive. If you weren’t aware of other realms in existence here, then welcome to some new information. Here is my prayer…”God, please do for me what I cannot do for myself, and please have me do for you what you need me to.”
