I also eat more salt when it’s hot out and that keeps me from getting dehydrated. I have low blood pressure so eating salt is really good for me. I usually add salt to my food to make sure I get enough. I know there are people who say that eating a low salt diet is good. That doesn’t agree with me.
It’s hard to generalize about what’s “good” for people. Other than the basics of needing air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat and sleep it doesn’t make sense to say that one way of doing things is the way everyone should do things. People are wired differently and everyone is in their own process here. What works for me is what works for me.
