Green Tea Ice Cream

I wasn’t eating ice cream for a number of years, even though I like it, so I recently decided that I was going to eat ice cream once a month to celebrate whatever is going on. It’s good for me to find reasons to have fun and kick back. I’m one of those people who can stay busy without even trying. And with so much to do, I need to take breaks.

I was out for dinner at a Chinese restaurant with a group of friends. It was my friend’s birthday. So we had a little party. When we celebrate at a restaurant, we all order a dish and share everything. It’s a lot of fun. I get to eat a lot of things that I wouldn’t order on my own when I eat out with my friends. It gets me to be more adventurous.

After dinner, the waitress brought out a bowl of green tea ice cream with a candle in it. We sang “Happy Birthday”, which is always nice and then I got to try some. It tasted really good. It wasn’t too sweet and was even refreshing. I’ll have to remember to order green tea ice cream when I’m at that Chinese restaurant again, maybe next month.
