Editing Tracks

Working with the right producer brings out the best in everything for me. Robert Eibach and I were in the B Studio editing vocal tracks earlier tonight. It was fun to watch him fly through Pro Tools. I sat in amazement as Robert put things together. Screens were popping up, sound waves were being moved around and then I heard my vocals in a whole new way.

When we were recording the lead vocal tracks and Robert was giving me direction, I didn’t always know what he was going for and some of the things he asked me to do were a lot different than what I was used to doing when I sang certain phrases. In our editing session tonight, I could hear how right on he was in how he directed me.

It’s really cool to have my recording project in the hands of a producer who really understands what my songs are about, what I need to do to improve what I do as an artist, and who has the ability to explain how to make things better than how I did them on my own. I’m really lucky to be recording at Del Oro Music, Thank you, Robert.
