Top Priority Goal for 2006

This year my #1, top priority, goal for 2006 is recording a new album with my band. I need a new CD that reflects where I am now as an artist. The “Telluride” CD was recorded in 1993 and my one-woman show, “Introducing Rosie Hitler” was videotaped and recorded in 2003. The 3rd year in a decade is usually a productive one for me.

The 6th year in a decade has typically positioned me for huge change in my life. In 1986, I started creating a lot of artwork and in 1987 I was selling my pieces and working as an independent contractor. In 1996, I left Colorado and moved to Arizona which shifted everything I was doing. The change in climate alone was dramatic.

The process for getting the album done this year is already in motion. The song list is getting put together. The production schedule is being set up. Discussions are happening regarding arrangements. Rehearsals are starting this month. The studio location where we will record is being scouted and the budget is being finalized. I dig this goal.
